I had such a blast taking Caleb and Brittany’s engagement photos!! They brought so much energy to the photo session and were excited about their engagement and upcoming wedding. I couldn’t be more happy for them and am honored they picked me to do their engagement photos.
I met Brittany last Fall through Facebook while trying to find other photographers who would be willing to teach me a thing or two about photography. We soon became online and texting buddies. It truly amazes me at some of the things she’s overcome in her lifetime. I’m glad our paths crossed. She suggested I use her to practice on and here is a photo from our practice shoot a while back.
I took Caleb and Brittany’s engagement photos downtown. We started at Capital Park.
We stopped by the Pentagon Barracks and took a few photos there. You can find some history on the Pentagon Barracks in downtown Baton Rouge here: Click me!
On our way to the River Center, I spotted a brick wall covered in vines with an open window, ever so conviently placed, on the right corner. It looked very fairy tale like to me.
W eventually made our way down the railroad tracks (what a workout that was in flip-flops) where we set up a mock proposal before heading to watch the sunset on the river.
Thanks Caleb and Brittany for such a great experience! I can’t wait to do your wedding photos!
